The base currency is the currency that is bought or sold for the quote currency. It comes first (on the left) in the code designation of a currency pair. That is, if the "Profit" column for a specific base cryptocurrency shows a positive value, it means that the specific base cryptocurrency brought profit in the amount indicated in that column. If the value is negative, it means that most of the signals for the specific base cryptocurrency closed at a loss and you should be especially careful when using signals for the specific base cryptocurrency; perhaps you should consider signals for it in the opposite direction, that is, if a signal is given for long, use it as short and vice versa.
