Cryptocurrency ranking by market capitalisation

This page lists 883 cryptocurrencies: 207 standalone coins and 676 tokens. The table is sorted by market capitalisation — the price of a coin multiplied by the number of coins in circulation. Every coin has its own page with technical details, a price chart, news, trading signals and the exchanges that trade it.

The first 50 rows load with the page. The rest open through the pagination below the table, or with the “show all” button, which puts the whole list on a single page.

Each row shows: rank, name and symbol, price in US dollars and in bitcoin (for tokens — in the coin of the network they were issued on), market capitalisation, 24-hour trading volume, the number of coins issued and its share of the maximum possible supply. The pickaxe icon means the coin can be mined.

Price change is given both as a percentage and in dollars. Red means the price fell, green means it rose.

The “Price change” column can be switched from “by period” to “from min, max”. The hour, day and week columns are then replaced by three others:

• — “% from min”: how far the price sits above its all-time low, and that low in dollars;
• — “% from max”: what share of the all-time high the current price represents, and that high in dollars;
• — “x to max”: how many times the price has to grow to return to its high, and how many dollars short it is.

A coin and a token differ in where they live. A coin has its own network and its own issuance rules — Bitcoin, Litecoin and Monero work this way. A token is issued on someone else’s network, most often Ethereum, BNB Chain or Tron, and follows that network’s rules. That is why a token’s price is also shown in the coin of its network: it makes clear whether the token is rising on its own or along with the network.

The supply column answers how many coins have been issued and how many may be issued in total. The percentage matters more than the number itself: if a tenth of the maximum is in circulation, the remaining nine tenths will eventually reach the market and share the capitalisation between them. Coins with no upper limit have no such share, so none is shown.

Daily trading volume says nothing about returns; it says how easily you can get in and out. A coin with a large capitalisation and a small volume sells slowly and at a worse price than the table suggests. A price without a volume next to it is half an answer.

Coin data is refreshed every five minutes: prices come from the exchanges, capitalisation and supply from the aggregator. The column with the miniature chart shows the price over the last 24 hours — the same series as the large chart on the coin’s own page.

These three columns describe the price’s past and say nothing about its future: a coin near its low can stay there for a long time, and a coin near its high can set a new one. The figures are there to compare coins with one another.
