The crypto market will welcome tokens worth more than $705 million in the final week of August 2026. Three major projects, Humanity (H), Huma Finance (HUMA), and Plasma (XPL), will release previously restricted tokens into circulation.

Token unlocks are key events in the crypto market, influencing liquidity, price volatility, and overall investor sentiment. So, here’s a breakdown of what to watch.

1. Humanity (H)

• Unlock Date: August 25
• Number of Tokens to be Unlocked: 266.47 million H
• Released Supply: 3.37 billion H
• Total supply: 10 billion H

Humanity (H) is a decentralized identity protocol that utilizes biometric palm recognition, zero-knowledge proofs, and blockchain to verify the authenticity of real human users without exposing their personal data. It features a native Proof of Humanity (PoH) consensus mechanism.

On August 25, the protocol will unlock 266.47 million tokens. The tokens are worth $18.3 million and account for 7.92% of the released supply.

The team will split the released supply six ways. Early contributors will receive 79.17 million H. Furthermore, Humanity will allocate 55.56 million altcoins to investors and 50 million to the ecosystem fund.

Identity verification rewards will take 42.86 million tokens. Meanwhile, the Human Institute strategic reserve will receive 26.39 million H. Lastly, the foundation operations treasury will receive 12.50 million.

2. Huma Finance (HUMA)

On August 26, the protocol will unlock 458.75 million tokens. The tokens are worth $10.07 million and account for 16.7% of the released supply.

The team will split the released supply three ways. Investors will receive 171.67 million altcoins. Furthermore, the team and advisors will get 160.83 million HUMA. Finally, Huma Finance will allocate 126.25 million altcoins to the protocol treasury.

3. Plasma (XPL)

• Unlock Date: August 25
• Number of Tokens to be Unlocked: 88.89 million XPL 
• Released Supply: 2.69 billion XPL
• Total supply: 10 billion XPL

Plasma is a Layer 1 blockchain platform built to enhance the efficiency and scalability of stablecoin transactions. It enables zero-fee USDT transfers, supports custom gas tokens, enables confidential payments, and delivers the throughput required for global-scale adoption.

Plasma will release 88.89 million crypto tokens on August 25. The XPL stack is worth $8.91 million. Moreover, the tokens account for 3.31% of the total supply released.

The team will direct all of the 88.89 million XPL to the ecosystem and growth.
