Gate announced WCTC S9 on 9 October 2026. Under the organiser’s rules, the main prize pool may reach 6 million USDT; its actual size depends on the number of traders meeting the eligibility conditions. This is not a promised payment to every trader.
Team format
A key highlight of WCTC S9 is the Squad Competition, which features a dedicated prize pool of up to 3,200,000 USDT. Participants can form teams consisting of at least one leader and four members. The competition is divided into two phases: Phase 1 runs from October 26 to November 10, while Phase 2 spans from November 10 to November 25.
The individual competition advertises a pool of up to 400,000 USDT. Ranking and rewards have separate eligibility requirements; trading bonuses and vouchers are not equivalent to cash payments. Trading, particularly with leverage, involves a risk of loss.
