Namecoin is one of the first altcoins, created on the basis of Bitcoin's technology. Its purpose is the decentralized registration of names and domains, primarily in the censorship-resistant .bit zone.

A node is a computer with an installed client connected to a cryptocurrency network. Nodes exchange data, relay transactions and blocks and jointly maintain the operation of the decentralized network.

A nonce is a variable number that miners substitute when hashing a block. By going through nonce values, they search for a hash that satisfies the target set by the network's difficulty.

A beginner (noob, newbie) is a person who has just started to learn about cryptocurrencies or has recently appeared in a themed community. The term describes a level of experience, not a judgment of the person.

An exchanger is a service for exchanging one form of money for another. In the crypto space exchangers are most often used to exchange cryptocurrency for fiat money and back.
