Standard Chartered issued its first analytical report on the Uniswap protocol, forecasting a 40-fold rise in the UNI token — from the current $2.70 to $100 by the end of 2030. Information about this appeared in the media.

According to the bankers, the main driver will be an inflow of tokenized assets into DeFi: their volume is expected to grow 37-fold, and Uniswap's liquidity pools will accordingly receive more assets to trade. Head of research Geoffrey Kendrick believes that DeFi protocols specifically offer the «best opportunity for building large fortunes» in crypto.

Kendrick compared Uniswap to YouTube, and Coinbase to Netflix: Uniswap provides open infrastructure where anyone can create liquidity pools, whereas Coinbase is more like a closed platform with limited control.
