Bitcoin Cash (BCC or BCH) is a newcryptocurrency created as a branch of Bitcoin on August 1, 2017. Bitcoin Cash has an initial history with Bitcoin. Differences between the above currencies are minimal, exept using different softwares for their functioning.

Cryptocurrency separation occurred due to the necessity of changing old Bitcoin protocol with a new one in order to increase the transaction processing speed. Opinions of market participants have split into two camps and two branches were formed: one branch uses the new SegWit2x protocol and the another uses Bitcoin cash. The second uses an increased block size (data storage) up to 8 MB. One of the developers of Bitcoin Cash is Amory Seshe.

Despite its young age Bitcoin Cash has leading position among the other leading cryptocurrencies in the world and has great potential in the long term. More and more cryptoexchanges offer Bitcoin Cash trading and it is very profitable to mine it at the current high price of this asset.
