Bhutan transfers 533 BTC to an exchange
Wallets that Arkham links to the government of Bhutan transferred 533 BTC (about $34.5 million) to Binance. After the transaction, around 1,750 BTC remained in the addresses.
Bhutan's Bitcoin reserve was built up through mining powered by surplus hydroelectricity. The state continues to fund at least four cryptocurrency mining sites. In recent months, inflows of coins into the national fund have stopped.
