Amazon Employees Complain About a Probe After Backing a Data-Center Moratorium

Three Amazon engineers filed a complaint with the Seattle Office for Civil Rights over the company's internal investigation. According to the employees, the reason was their statements in support of a moratorium on large data centers, The Verge reports.
On June 9, the Seattle City Council unanimously introduced a one-year moratorium on siting such facilities. Amazon stated that it is investigating a possible violation of its communications policy, denies plans to fire the employees, and claims that it is not taking retaliatory measures.
