Atom Computing and Nu Quantum will study photonic networks for quantum computers

Atom Computing and Nu Quantum have signed a memorandum of cooperation to scale neutral-atom quantum computers. The companies will study the integration of Atom Computing's systems with Nu Quantum's dynamically reconfigurable photonic networking hardware.
The partners will focus on integrated photonic switches, qubit and photon entanglement technologies, as well as modeling distributed fault-tolerant architectures. The goal is to connect several quantum processors into modular systems suitable for computations of practical scale.
