A beginner (newbie, noob) is a person who has recently started engaging with some topic; in the context of cryptocurrencies the term is used for those who are only getting acquainted with the industry or have come to a specialized forum or community for the first time. The term describes a level of experience rather than a person's personal qualities and is neutral in itself.
