A HYIP (hype) is an investment project whose capitalization occurs through financial contributions from the project's users. In order for users to invest their funds in the project, HYIP projects pay their investors interest on their deposits according to the investment plan chosen by the user.

A single HYIP project may have many different investment plans. A feature of such an investment project is that interest is accrued mainly on a daily or hourly basis, and only occasionally weekly or monthly. The interest payout rate on the deposit for investors can range from 0.5% to 100% per day!

The safest payout rate today is 0.5-10% per day, which in total over a month amounts to between 15% and 300% of the funds invested by the user. Most often the minimum investment amount in a HYIP project starts at 5 dollars, while the maximum investment amount can reach several million dollars.
