Scam in HYIP does not always go on the wish of the administrator

Some cases of scam by the administrators's wish have been described already in one of the previous articles, but life is complex and unpredictable, which means scam may happen without the malicious intent of the project creator but due to external circumstances. Let's observe several possible outcomes of situations in such case.

First of all, it’s worth to be said the HYIPs are under the especial scrutiny of hackers as any another gray business. This is a tasty morsel for cyber criminals since the project creator will never complain to the police because of the business specifics. That is why scam can happen through no fault of the administrator.

The first situation of a scam without the participation of the administrator - hacking the computer. Hackers do not shun anything and the computer of the one or another project creator is not an exception. The most banal case is inserted into computer trojan virus which will give an access to all materials. There the situation is up to the hackers, they may transfer money to someone’s account, make purchases, etc.

The second situation is also about hackers, who can hack the server besides the administrator’s personal computer. This is all more possible since there are holes in any program and in any software. Having gained access to the server the hacker programmer gains access to everything and HYIP comes to scam. Unfortunately, administrator can not prevent it in this situation.

The third situation - script hacking. Any HYIP is a program (script) which means there are always some weak points in it and skilled hacker will find them for sure. At the same time, he/she can immediately take possession of all funds or do more gracefully: create accounts with deposits and gradually pump money into his/her wallet, which, of course, will approximate the date of the scam.

The fourth situation - DdoS-attack. The more actively and purposefully HYIP is being attacked, the greater the risk of the defense failure. HYIP stops working, money is not withdrawn. If the site is possible to recover after such virtual influx, you can be sure new deposits will not follow after such an incident, as investors will try their best to withdraw funds.

Fifth situation - conflict of interests. Human factor is not canceled. Of course, technical loopholes and various problems are important, but it is also possible that there is a conflict between partners who lead a joint business on the HYIP. Depending on its causes and results it may be decided to close the project and hello, scam. This may also include a planned campaign of the anti-PR. When the rivals (maybe the same partners who did not get along) start spreading negative reviews about HYIP project, they write on the forums that money is not paid and the administrator is unprincipled villain... As a result, panic occurs, trust falls lower and as a result scam happens.

Sixth and final situation - ban from one or more payment systems. HYIP wallet can be blocked by one of the payment systems (Yandex.Money, Qiwi, and further down the list). If the administrator does not think about this situation in advance and does not withdraw the money to the backup wallets, the project will lose everything and there is nothing for investors to pay, which means nothing more than a scam. However, the situation is controversial, it can be said that this is the fault of the administrator partly and this will be correct on the one hand, but on the other hand the administrator is also human and it’s impossible to think everything out sometimes, therefore it is still the fault of external circumstances.

So, from all of the above we can conclude that no one is insured against fails and loss of money. Therefore, everything is in your hands, think over the possible outcomes on your own and be sure to diversify your portfolio.
