According to the report, the company sold 129.03 million native XRP tokens. This volume was obtained by adding 88.88 million tokens sold by "programmatic" means, and 40.15 million sold through the subsidiary XRP II to institutional investors. The amount is equivalent to 24.09 percent of the total volume of XRP sold for the year.

Thus, the previous forecasts on the indicators came true. In Q4, 3 billion XRP were released from the company's escrow account, however 2.4 billion of them were simply transferred to new escrow contracts. As Ripple representatives report, the released tokens will go toward various activities that will contribute to the development of the project.

The report also provides an important indicator of the average daily XRP trading volume, which amounts to 595.7 million tokens. Also, contrary to market behavior, XRP volatility decreased, while trading volume grew substantially.

Another piece of good news is the successful listing of the XRP token on 30 new exchanges. At the moment the token is available on more than 100 crypto exchanges around the world. The world's largest digital asset platform Binance also added XRP as a base pair. Now the exchange allows trading the coin in the pairs XRP/TRX and XRP/XZC. In addition, XRP is currently an altcoin with the highest market capitalization.
