The Central Bank of the Philippines has approved new cryptocurrency listing rules for licensed virtual asset service providers. The document prohibits platforms from adding and supporting privacy-oriented assets. Before listing coins and tokens, providers must vet them across six areas: issuer information, market maturity, use cases, transparency and security, liquidity and reserves, as well as compliance with the law.
