On June 18, Colombia defeated football World Cup debutant Uzbekistan with a score of 3:1. The goals were scored by Daniel Munoz, Luis Diaz and substitute Jhon Campaz, who netted in the ninth minute of added time. Uzbekistan scored one goal through Abbosbek Fayzullaev.
