The US Federal Reserve (Fed) kept its benchmark interest rate in the range of 3.5% to 3.75%. This triggered a sell-off of cryptocurrencies: immediately after the US central bank's announcement, Bitcoin fell by almost 1.2%. Major altcoins dropped 2-3%.
