Hacker who stole crypto wallet passwords detained

In Ukraine, a hacker who used viruses to steal passwords from crypto wallets has been detained. The hacker was apprehended by officers of Ukraine's cyber police in the Zaporizhzhia region. The detainee used malicious software to steal passwords to crypto wallets. During the special operation to detain the hacker, a search was conducted at his home, during which law enforcement seized computers and hard drives on which the viruses were installed. The cyber police press center noted that the criminal used malware to break into victims' computers and then gained access to the logins and passwords needed to enter their crypto wallets. In this way the criminal stole tokens. Investigators emphasize that the criminal was very cautious. He carried out attacks on victims' computers not directly through his own PC, but instead launched intrusions through rented servers. The suspect is currently in custody and is giving testimony. The investigation is trying to determine how many wallets the hacker managed to break into and how large a sum of tokens he stole from the victims.
