Ripple is a decentralized cryptocurrency which relates to the same name payment system. Ripple is based on a chain of blocks as Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash is a new cryptocurrency created as a branch of Bitcoin. Cryptocurrency separation occurred due to the necessity of changing old Bitcoin protocol with a new one in order to increase the transaction processing speed. Opinions of market participants have split into two camps and two branches were formed: one branch uses the new SegWit2x protocol and the another uses Bitcoin cash.
